Rebounders Gymnastics COVID Guidelines  - Updated March 3, 2022

Due to the drastic drop in the positivity rates in Baltimore County and in alliance with the county school system and updated CDC guidelines, as of March 3, 2022 mask wearing will be optional at Rebounders.

Along with that, gripper socks will also be optional.

If a person tests positive for COVID-19 and has been at the gym within 48hrs of the first symptoms or positive test result, that person’s parent

  • must contact Rebounders management immediately and

  •  that person must remain out of the gym until:

  • 5 full days since symptoms first appeared or the positive result (day the symptoms start is day 0 then count 5 full days. Return on day 6) and

  • 24 hours with no fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and

  • Symptoms of COVID-19 are improving

  • That person must wear a mask while at the gym until day 10 since the symptoms first appeared or the positive test result

If a person is exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19 (at Rebounders or otherwise):

  • We will notify the class of possible COVID exposure.

  • Quarantine optional (*use your discretion to determine whether to quarantine or not).

  • If you decide to have your child tested due to possible exposure, while waiting for results, the same optional quarantine guidelines apply.*

  • Those persons in the same group asked to wear a mask for 5 days of exposure

  • If symptoms arise, follow the protocol for positive COVID case above.

(*Individuals are masked and kept socially distant during classes; therefore, it is questionable that the “close contact” definition stands.)

*Please note: The Kangaroo Learning Center must follow the COVID guidelines mandated by the OCC.

Please know that we do as much as possible to keep your staff and families safe at the gym.  If we see that cases are rising or notice transmission within our facility, we will reverse this decision immediately.
